RishisRishis and Masters

- Heirarchy of Rishis and Guruparmpara - Heirarchy of Masters are the two corner stones of Inida Spiritualism.

In recent history of India Veda Murty , Taponista, Yugadrasta , Nishkalanka Prajnavatar Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, founder of All World Gayatri Pariwar, has made an attempt to revive the tradition of rishiparampara. He did the herculean task of reviving the tradition of rishis. He could accomplish this great task under the guidance of his Guru Sarveshwaranandaji, the living Himalayan guru. He took the oath in his third Himalayan trip "“I shall try for the revival of the traditions of rishis". History is witness that he has spent his life time in rigorous penance and succeeded in reviving the rishiparamparas of 14 rishis.

Masters :

“Avatar of Synthesis – Jnana Yajna” is targeted at those individuals who know that their mundane daily existence is not the sole idea of creation. They want to know the purpose of creation, their true nature and the powers of nature.

Many start out on this quest at any point they happen to come across.  Some start with the direct study of scriptures while others start with commentaries. Some start with a Guru and His/Her teachings, but soon reach a stage where they feel the need for more fundamental answers. Without an understanding of this, they feel like a building without foundation. Soon, the sheer volume of information overwhelms them and they get lost.

Dr R.K, who Himself has climbed the steps of spiritualism  and now stands at its peak, explains that the answer to the above problem is to understand what various Gurus taught and how one’s teaching paves the path for the next. Then one can put forth the first step and then the next.

Dr R.K has created the concept of “Akhanda Gurusatta” and has explained what each Master teaches and how it fits into the vast canvas of our life’s quest. Note that we are not grading the masters, but what you can learn from them. This is like a school where the all teachers are at the same level while the student moves from one class to another, learning different things from different teachers.

Guru Gita says – As a bee goes from flower to flower and collects nectar, so should a student go from Guru to Guru and gain knowledge.

Before we embark on learning from the Masters, we should understand clearly the concept of Guru. The actual Guru lies inside each one of us. The external Guru shows us the path of reaching the Guru inside. But who is a Guru?

There are 3 definite energies working in Nature. These are the Generative, Operative and Dissolutive energies. These are the energies of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva also known as the creative (srishti), sustaining (sthiti) and dissolution (laya) energies. Note the term dissolution. Dissolution (Laya) does not mean Destruction. It means that a form is dissolved so that a better instrument may be formed. Whenever a form is dissolved, a form of better quality emerges from the dissolved content. In us, these 3 energies are manifested as energy of Will (Iccha), Knowledge (Jnana) and Action (Kriya)

How are these three energies related to Guru?

Gurur Brahmā Gurur Vishnuh Gurur Dēvō Mahēshwarah |
Guruh Sākshāt Parabrahmā Tasmai Sri Guravē  Namah
||
There is a power that operates behind these 3 principles and that is the Guru power.
He is the Maha Iswara. That Guru can work only when you know
Akhanda Mandalākāram Vyāptam Yēna Charācharam
|
Yatpadam darshitam Yēna Tasmai Sri Guravē  Namah ||

The Guru power is the culmination of these 3 powers. The Guru utilizes the energies of Will (Iccha), Knowledge (Jnana) and Action (Kriya).

We have the ability to understand concept of Guru since it was once prevalent in India. The Guru parampara slowly denounced the matter and paved way for divinity at the cost of matter. In the west, they denied God and got matter. They lost God. This is the present situation.

Today, there exist a group of people scattered here and there who have reached God, but denounced matter. Another group has mastered matter at the cost of God. Now these two should meet. The east has to meet the west. Materialism should understand spiritualism and vice-versa. The new era humanity should create this wedlock of matter and spirit. All the intelligentsia of today has touched the peaks of material science and hence should turn inwards and explore the vistas of spirit.

All manifested world is controlled by word. Some words are made potent by embedding a lot of meaning into them (They are called mantras). These words are said to be mantric. The words used by Gurus when they described about their life brimming with details of sadhana for God-realisation are also mantric in nature. It requires intense study to understand the life and its purpose of one great master.

To learn this, we can form a group. Group approach is very effective because the result of a collective aspiration is expressed through an individual. Let us understand this concept with an example -

From 1600s, men wanted to learn flying. From then onwards, many people tried. They all contributed to the technology of flying. After 300 years, it got expressed through Wright brothers.

Collective approach to a cause comes out through an individual. We do not know when it will come or through whom? We do not care about these details. But we know that collective aspiration is the key to obtain a result to any effort. This is the secret of science progressing at this pace. Science means collective aspiration towards a goal for many lives. Let us all incorporate this principle into our endeavor to understand life and its energies in a very progressive and positive way with the collective experiences of the many great realized souls whom we call our mentors, guides and Gurus.

Let us understand the unique contribution of each one of the Gurus in the Akhanda Gurusatta in our endeavor to understand life in its most complete sense and take the reins of life into our hands.

Each life is an experiment. But this single life is the result of the dissolution (laya) of many previous experiments. Our lives are experiments where we experiment and observe many things. These are stored as inferences. Only the one who knows the inferences of the past can move forward. Others begin the experiment again from the beginning.
