Morning Meditation

Repeat Gayatri Mantra along with me –

Om bhur bhuvah Swaha
Tat savitur varenyam
bhargo devasya dheemahi

Mataji’s Instructions:

Dhyan is a process through which one unites one’s consciousness with that of the divine consciousness and tries to become one with Him. When the correct emotional background is built, the divine consciousness purifies and illuminates the physical, astral and causal bodies of the sadhak. You are all sitting in the YugTeerth stimulated by the penance (tapas) of the YugRishi. Feel that you are enveloped by the energizing atmosphere of the teerth, the Gurusatta and the universal consciousness. Your body, mind, buddhi and chitta are drowned in it. Keep molding your mind as per the instructions being given by Pujya Gurudev. It does not matter whether your eyes perceive any divine vision or whether your senses experience anything, just follow the instructions given by Pujya Gurudev without fail. Subtle body is already doing its work according to Pujya Gurudev’s instructions; divinity is being awakened and established within you. When Gurudev chants Gayatri mantra, you also chant the mantra internally along with and not aloud. Feel that each and every cell in your body is resonating to the divine subtle vibrations sent forth by Pujya Gurudev. Feel that your body, mind and antahkarana are divinized by those vibrations. Develop your emotions according to the instructions given by Gurudev and keep absorbing the divine vibrations with devotion. Towards the end, when Pujya Gurudev chants the ‘Asatoma Sadgamaya’ prayer, chant along with Him but in your mind and not aloud, and feel that the energy thus received is getting established in our body, mind and other places. This will lead us from darkness to light, from ignorance to wisdom and from death to immortality. After the completion of the meditation, be seated for some time in a silent peaceful state and do manasik japa (chant Gayatri mantra in the mind). Sit peacefully so that you can reap more benefits out of the meditation done. Now meditate with complete faith.
